New 65,000 sq. ft. facility expected to create 500–800 jobs over five years
Bengaluru: Swiss electronics inspection solutions provider Delvitech announced plans to establish a manufacturing and technology facility in Bengaluru, with an initial investment of USD 10 million and a total planned investment of USD 25–30 million. The 65,000 sq. ft. facility is expected to become operational in Q1 2027 and create 500–800 jobs over five years.
The company also showcased its Horus, Aton and Horus Dual Lane inspection solutions at productronica India 2026, demonstrating how physical AI can improve manufacturing efficiency and sustainability.
Roberto Gatti, Founder and CEO, Delvitech SA, said, “India is one of our priority markets; and the country has leapfrogged in its manufacturing capabilities over the last few years, with electronics now being at the center of that growth story. We see enormous potential here; not just as a manufacturing base, but increasingly as a hub for R&D and innovation. Our customers here didn’t ask us to be present; they asked us to be close. Bangalore is that answer.”

The facility will house precision machining, metrology, equipment integration, engineering and R&D capabilities, alongside a customer demonstration area for local trials and evaluation. It will support Delvitech’s efforts to serve India’s growing electronics manufacturing sector.
