Syniverse’s platform enables seamless cross-border connectivity between the two networks
T-Mobile and Jio have achieved the world’s first 5G Standalone (SA) roaming connection, enabled through interoperability with Syniverse. The milestone enables T-Mobile customers to experience 5G SA roaming while travelling internationally, with faster speeds, lower latency and more reliable connectivity.
The development also opens possibilities for applications across IoT, real-time communications and immersive technologies. Syniverse’s connectivity platform enables secure interconnection between networks, supporting the adoption of next-generation roaming.
