Tata Power has commissioned a 60-kW DC fast-charging station at True Sai, an authorised Tata Motors showroom at the Salem–Omalur highway junction in Narasothipatti, Tamil Nadu.
Located at the intersection of NH 44 and NH 544, the facility provides EV users travelling between Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kerala, Tiruchirappalli and Madurai with a convenient charging point without requiring a major detour.
The station features dual-gun CCS-2 connectors and supports a wide range of compatible passenger and light commercial electric vehicles. Located within an authorised Tata Motors dealership, the facility also provides travellers with access to nearby amenities.
The new station is part of Tata Power’s EZ Charge network, which now has more than 6,700 public and captive charging points, over 2.5 lakh home EV chargers and more than 1,200 e-bus charging points across 700+ cities and towns in India.
EV users can locate the station, check availability and start charging through the Tata Power EZ Charge mobile app or RFID cards, making it easier for EV owners to plan intercity journeys.
