Hexaware Technologies [NSE: HEXT] has launched an open version of RapidX®, its agentic AI platform for software engineering, with native integration with Replit. The collaboration enables enterprises to move efficiently from rapid prototyping to production-ready applications.

The integrated environment allows business users to translate natural-language requirements into working prototypes, while RapidX® applies engineering discipline, architecture guidance, and governance controls to scale solutions for enterprise deployment. This unified approach supports both new application development and modernization initiatives, helping reduce delivery risk and improve time-to-value.

As part of the expanded partnership, Hexaware and Replit are launching dedicated Replit squads to support enterprise adoption. Hexaware has also established a Center of Excellence for AI in the Software Development Life Cycle at its Chennai facility. The CoE will focus on AI-assisted delivery, applied research, and client collaboration to scale agentic development practices globally.

Key capabilities include enterprise-grade rapid prototyping, structured validation workflows, secure development environments, modernization intelligence, and governed delivery frameworks suitable for regulated industries. Early engagements have demonstrated measurable impact in pharmaceutical commerce simulations, natural-language requirements clarification, accelerated prototype validation, and high-fidelity interface generation.

Leadership from both organizations emphasized the shared vision of enabling faster, secure, and predictable software delivery. The collaboration aims to broaden AI-driven SDLC adoption and strengthen enterprise innovation by combining intuitive development with robust engineering standards.

“We started Replit to enable billions to make any application they want without knowing how to code, from school projects to enterprise-ready offerings, even inside complex enterprises, by enabling non-technical knowledge workers to build production‑ready applications using natural language,” said Amjad Masad, Founder & CEO, Replit. “With Hexaware and RapidX®, teams are using Replit to prototype faster, validate requirements earlier, and move from concept to production with more confidence across both new builds and modernization in a secure environment.”
