Bengaluru: At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) announced a strategic initiative to expand AI-driven creativity and productivity among students across India. The company will provide free access to its flagship applications—Photoshop, Acrobat Pro and Firefly—to students through accredited higher education institutions.

Aligned with the Government of India’s AI priorities and the Union Budget 2026 focus on generating two million jobs in the AVGC sector by 2030, Adobe will extend its AI-first offering to 15,000 schools and 500 colleges set to establish Content Creator Labs. The program combines software access with structured curriculum, training modules and industry-recognized credentials to enhance employability.

Shantanu Narayen, Chair and CEO of Adobe, said the initiative aims to equip millions of Indian students with advanced AI skills, supporting the country’s long-term digital growth ambitions.

Students will gain access to Adobe Firefly, an integrated AI creative studio that enables content generation using commercially safe AI models, along with flexibility to work with partner ecosystems. Acrobat Pro will support productivity and collaboration through advanced document editing and workflow tools.

To strengthen skilling pathways, Adobe India has partnered with NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime, a digital skilling platform backed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The collaboration will provide free AI-focused courses and certifications to learners nationwide.

The initiative is designed to support emerging career paths across graphic design, animation, gaming, marketing, media, e-commerce and technology, ensuring students are prepared for AI-enabled roles in a rapidly evolving economy.

The offering is available to students via accredited higher education institutions across India.
