Shadowfax has operationalised OneNCR, its largest automated sortation hub, following an investment of approximately INR 50 crore. Spread across 2.1 lakh sq. ft. in the NCR region, the facility significantly enhances the company’s processing scale and automation capabilities across North India.
The advanced automated sorter can process up to 48,000 shipments per hour, among the highest capacities in India’s logistics sector. At peak performance, the hub is designed to handle up to 10 lakh shipments daily and will serve as a key backbone for Shadowfax Prime, its same-day and next-day delivery service.
Built on a high-efficiency single-touch model, the centre enables 80% of shipments to be manifested directly for last-mile delivery at origin, reducing handling time and errors. The facility supports up to 80 direct linehaul routes, performs over 3,000 origin-level sorts, and includes semi-automated lines capable of handling 20,000 shipments per hour, along with specialised bag and box sortation of 6,000 shipments per hour.
This expansion strengthens Shadowfax’s ability to deliver faster, cost-efficient logistics solutions amid growing e-commerce and D2C demand.
