Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its presence in Chhattisgarh with the opening of a new luxury sales showroom in Raipur, operated by City Star. The facility marks a key step in the brand’s strategy to deepen its reach in emerging luxury markets and move closer to customers through an enhanced retail network.
A key highlight of the showroom is Raipur’s first exclusive ‘Maybach Corner’, reflecting rising demand for top-end and ultra-luxury vehicles in the region. Designed to offer a refined and personalised buying journey, the showroom integrates dedicated spaces for premium models, private and semi-private consultation zones, lifestyle display elements, and a specialised handover bay supported by a trained Key Presenter.
Strategically located in Telibandha, Central Raipur, the facility benefits from strong visibility and easy access from major residential, business, and commercial areas. The site caters to a dense cluster of existing and potential luxury car buyers within a 3–5 km radius, positioning it as a key destination for high-end mobility in the city. The project was completed within seven months, highlighting the speed and efficiency of execution.
The showroom spans a total built-up area of 5,300 sq. ft., including a covered display space of 3,500 sq. ft. It features one delivery bay and is supported by a trained team of around 30 professionals, ensuring focused engagement across sales and vehicle handover processes. In line with Mercedes-Benz’s electric mobility roadmap, the showroom is equipped with a 120 kW DC fast charger with two charging bays to support battery electric vehicle customers.

The launch of City Star Raipur aligns with Mercedes-Benz India’s ‘Go to Customer’ approach, which focuses on extending world-class luxury retail experiences into high-potential regional markets. The company said the new outlet will strengthen its retail footprint while delivering a premium, personalised experience consistent with its brand values.

Mercedes-Benz India also reaffirmed its broader expansion plans, which include the launch of 12 new products and the opening of 20 additional dealerships across the country in 2026, underscoring its commitment to growth in both metropolitan and emerging markets.
